Anita Maternity Underwear

Anita Maternity Underwear

Anita Maternity offers day and night-time lingerie and swimwear ranges tailored to the special needs of women during pregnancy and the breastfeeding period.

Founded in Germany in 1886 the company started out making elasticated braces, it wasn't until 1960 that they began production of nursing bras and maternity panty girdles.

With its superior materials, clever designs and modern styling, the collection enables every mother-to-be to look and feel the best around the clock.

Anita maternity bras offer support during pregnancy with soft, breathable fibres.  They offer practical nursing bras with cups that easily opened and closed with one hand.  The bras have all-round breast support with sheer inner fabrics for sensitive breasts.

Anita also offer a range of comfortable nightwear which can be worn during pregnancy, and afterwards when breastfeeding.  There are a number of accessories available including a support belt, washable breast pads and nursing vests.

Washing and Care Instructions for your Anita Lingerie

Your lingerie will look good for longer if you follow the care instructions on the label. Most lingerie can be machine-washed at low temperatures (30°C). Always use the Delicates setting for this. If your machine doesn't have one, use the Easy Care setting. Always use a mild detergent and ensure the correct dosage - too much can damage the fabric, while too little won't get it properly clean. It is best to place delicate items in a special protective bag before machine-washing, closing all Velcro-type fasteners first - or hand-wash them in warm water. It is not recommended to use fabric conditioner.

Whites
Never wash whites and colours together - even by hand. This can cause discoloration, or turn your garments grey and dull. To bring your whites up bright and fresh again, you can occasionally use a net curtain whitener.

Drying
Never dry your lingerie directly on heaters, in direct sunlight or in the tumble-dryer. The wear and tear on fabric and lace is exacerbated by extreme heat.
